Even better: leave the band as normal when closed, and just slide your pen along the top of the notebook horizontally, hooking the clip through the elastic. You're welcome. :)

my bujo is a small hardcover book with no band. I just attach a small binder clips to the back cover and stick the pen clip into it. I love your videos! thanks for creating this life saving system!

Nice simple idea... I have seen that some BUJO enthusiasts use very expensive pens because of the extra fine tips. I am wondering how people access or store their journals... keep in a desk? in a briefcase? in their purse for ongoing access? Is this like the DAYPLANNER craze of the eighties? (somewhere around that time...) I don't know if your book has a space in the spine, but I use to keep pens there, when they fit.
