The latest data suggests there were 3.4 times more COVID-19 deaths compared to flu and pneumonia this year.

The Office for National Statistics said that between January and August 2020, there were 48,168 deaths due to COVID-19 compared to 13,600 from pneumonia.

There were 394 fatalities from flu, an unsually low flu season.

Is that before or after the number of deaths were found to be false?

I had a test a month ago and it come back negative since then I've had a constant cough. I went to doctors today and she said that I have got a chest infection because I had covid. She said the test is useless and has a 40% error rate...

Strangely, flu deaths are massively down this year on the past five year average. I wonder whether some flu deaths have been attributed to COVID (along with all the other deaths with and not from COVID).

How does the number of deaths compare with the increased in cases compared to April?
Seems like the virus is becoming less deadly over time. this is something not being talked about.

It restores my faith in humanity that people now realising this pandemic is bullshit. Almost as happy when people called out pedophillia in that bullshit netflix movie

In the Winter of 1968/69 the UK lost 80, 000 to Hong Kong Flu. It was a minor news item somewhere behind Nixon, Apollo and Vietnam.

I don’t see TV news, so I don’t know whether anyone has actually pointed out that the higher level there is of “testing” there is, the higher the number of cases there is going to be. Innit?

Many people like myself are wondering how this will be looked back on by future generations. One thing is for sure, news items like this video will be used to study statistics, context and politics as examples of how they can be used to influence narratives.

From ONS itself:

Influenza and pneumonia was mentioned on more death certificates than COVID-19, however COVID-19 was the underlying cause of death in over three times as many deaths between January and August 2020.

The highest number of deaths due to influenza and pneumonia occurred in January 2020, however influenza and pneumonia deaths were below the five-year average (2015 to 2019) in every month.

So more had pneumonia or flu and died with covid.
They can't even cover their own bs properly

What about criminal activity like smuggling people from Africa using French Navy and UK Coast Guard, and keeping Islamist in hotels for our money?

I'm actually bored of reading the comments section nowadays... Its as though everyone thinks they are an expert and know exactly what's happening... I don't belive a word the media give me but to think people in the comments section are far superior in knowledge than the media is laughable.
