Respected sir, I've completed mbbs this year, hv been your student in dams. Want your suggestion about my mother's case. She is known hypertensive for past 4 yrs, on telma 40 . Recently on routine test found her creatinine to be elevated by .2 from range shown in lab value (1.4), bt urea and electrolytes n other tests were normal. I repeated after 2 month, creatinine was still elevated. No other symptoms or complain was there. She lost about 1-2 kg in recent months as by seeing creat level she decreased protein intake.
Is isolated increase of creatinine is concerning.? Or should i go for urine analysis or usg .. how should i proceed?
