Mate your a legend I work on cars and it’s frustrating but you are something else working on hgvs my dad keeps saying I should transfer over as it’s better money but all I keep thinking is the size of the parts would be a killer

If you apply the secondary brake slowly which will be the handbrake, Am I right in saying that this applies air to the service part of the chamber and when the handbrake is fully applied the parking side of the chamber exhausts all air to apply the spring ?

My manual says to cage the brake then remove. Working on a transit bus with disc brakes.

So, if you apply the brakes and air goes in port 2, its the air applying the service brake, and the spring stays retracted? If you operate the park brake or have a sudden loss of air, it's the first port that depressurises and the spring applies the brake?
