The slower it takes to reopen; the faster the pink slips go out, the faster the small businesses close permanently, the faster the unemployment rate goes up, the longer it takes us and all of our businesses to dig out of this hole he got us into. Businesses in late phase 2 states are already recovering ..

I'm in American and live in New Zealand and have a very good friend in North Carolina- so I'm worried about him. I've been following cases and deaths in North Carolina and New Zealand as it was happening. And in the beginning New Zealand and North Carolina had cases at the same time. But then NC started getting more and more. Now 9 weeks later— New Zealand only had 2000 cases and 21 deaths and now there have only been 2 cases in the last week 0 for the last few days. I can't believe in North Carolina and all through US its so bad- feel so sorry for the US.

5 weeks, people have already, and will now lose just about all confidence in North Carolina. States that are and will be open will just bring their infection here as it has been happening since this began. This is crazy! I appreciate your concern, but this is not the best approach. We have critical thinking capacity to make much better regulations and advisement. Businesses and people will struggle in an UNPRECEDENTED fashion.

Bottom line, Democratic governor = extend as long as possible . Georgia and Florida prove that opening up is a good thing . It hurts me to see a state with so much potential gets held back by lame politics .
