If we only had the power to vote Mandy Cohen OUT of her position that she fails miserably

So are teachers going to forfeit half of their salaries to all the parents who are doing half of their work for them?

Anybody wondered why they can’t hold his press conference i outside so the press can actually show up and ask questions

So these kids go from worrying about school shooting drills (learning how to properly barricade a door, hide under your desk, some have metal detectors to enter the building and some parents actually buy their kids bullet proof backpacks!) to now ALSO worry about getting sick, or them accidentally getting someone else sick, or remembering to not hug their friend when they’re sad, and now all kids (and everyone else in the building) get to wear a mask for hours and breath back in their own germs over and over and carbon monoxide and lowered oxygen levels. Come on parents. When is enough enough!? Do you think your kids will get a quality education in the midst of ALL this? Anxiety will be ramped. ☹️ There hasn’t been a “normal” in public schools for a LONG time and this “new normal” is an even bigger joke. Normal isn’t some stranger molding your child’s mind with a crap ton of indoctrination for hours and days and years. Normal isn’t you and your family having to abide by someone else’s rules about YOUR children. Normal isn’t needing permission for your kids to take a few days off for a family vacation. Normal isn’t kids doing hours of work at school only to come home to more school work at home the few hours they have each night. Normal is YOU taking the reins and teaching your kids the way they learn best and without all the fluff and extra paperwork. Teaching your kids TRUE history. Taking a Friday off if you want to go to a park and explore and incorporate that into a teaching moment. I could go on and on. Last year my 7 year old who has been homeschooled mind you, by a single chronically ill mom who works still scored between a 3.6 and 5.9 grade level on his state standardized test. Mind you he was in what public schools consider, 2nd grade that year. He’s able to learn the way he learns best on OUR time each week. If that means we do some learning on a Sunday afternoon because we took a day off during the week then we can. Please look into homeschooling. What you have been doing with this distance learning IS NOTHING like what actual homeschooling is. ♥️

I don’t mind if USA shut down again in August because it will happen.
But unfortunately school will be more dangerous during pandemic.
( although I am listening to the king singers and their music is beautiful)

Do we get a tax refund for education since they don’t wanna provide it for us and they take tax dollars out of our paycheck every week for just that reason we just started not too long ago the educational lottery I have noticed that it has been cut in half where is all that money going

Children do not need to be wearing masks! Y'all said something about preschoolers? Are y'all serious? These tiny children who have not fully developed and you want to cover them up? How sick! 🤢 none of these children need to be doing this K through 12. Have you even considered how the past several years how severe bullying and everything was in school? Think about if everybody is wearing a mask and something happens. How will they know who did what! This is really scary! It's unconstitutional! Very high health hazard! In very high safety concerns. Danger not safety!

I like lettings parents and kids decide which path..B or C.
Spec needs kids...any students with compromised issues or fammily with compromised issues should not return until spreading is contained and stats are down much better.
The teachers Must do better with remote lessons and work with such students.
We had little done by my spec needs teacher for my teen.
Didnt even get alternative communication tools my non verbal must have to learn.
Its on me...funds are obsolete thanks to the virus outbreak.
Good thing my background is spec ed. I should get pd for designing/ implementation of such programs. Its not hard but time consuming.
Parents who home school do all the schooling and have been so staying away from a physical school is hurting no-one but district monies as they get funded by head count.

I know Cooper is doing his best.
Teachers should have training already for remote learning.
Its the future.
Put district $$$$ where it belongs...remote learning is here to stay.
They are hiring for more aides...staff..drivers...to replace and add to schools.
Spec ed normally has less than 12 students in class...teachers need to step up.
I wrote IPPs..IEPs for up to 50 students at a time...its called do your job.

I hope he realizes what an utter disaster his plan for opening schools is. Just try making a bunch of kindergartners that are full of energy stay 6 feet apart and always have a mask over their face. That would be one of the biggest disasters yet!! Think clearly people!
