Yes this works for anything as long as the TV has an HDMI port. You can shop around for a better deal though. Only thing is sucks if you are watching a movie but gotta recharge. I thought a wireless charger would fix this problem but it only slows the battery drain.

Be careful some cell phones do not support this option, make sure you ask or research if your phone has a sharing capabilities? If it doesnt your cable will be useless.
