Hardest Shiny Pokémon Hunts in Scarlet & violet

In this short, I explain the hardest pokemon to shiny hunt in Pokemon scarlet and violet which is Maushold, Dundunsparce, and Sinistea in their alt form, Arven's Pokémon in Titan Battles. Tera Raid Battles and Ditto in the overworld.

Along with ditto, zorua and zoroark also disguise as other pokemon, and funnily enough, all 3 can disguise as themselves (as in, a zorua disguising as a zorua)

Sinistea is the hardest to find of the three at the start. You can breed for Tandemaus and Dunsparce. In addition, they have places they regularly spawn, like the Pokémon League and Area Zero. While you can breed a Sinistea with a Ditto, it will always be its more common Phony form. Of the two places you can find Sinistea, you can only find the Antique form near Alfornada. And if that wasn't enough, encounter boosting sandwiches only boost the Phony form, not the Antique form. Good luck.

After I first found Maushold I wanted it shiny and not even halfway through the game on my 6th egg I got it shiny and it evolved not soon later on my party into the family of 3. He’s been leading my team ever since. I actually came across an outbreak of sinistea when trying to get my ceruledge armour and got a shiny! No chipped pot tho but still fire and hard to see!

The fact that these Pokémon are more difficult to get shinies of than Roaring Moon still astounds, because when you go into the last area with dragon sparkling power, you’ve still gotta deal with Zweilous and the Gible line spawning

The fact that shiny ditto does NOT show up as another shiny Pokémon had only made my nightmare a reality... Same with Zorua line, I'd assume.

Shiny spiritomb too. It can't be influenced by sparkling power or even the shiny charm because it's a static spawn. No outbreaks of it, and the spawn rate of a normal spiritomb is already low as it is. The only way to farm it is to do some time switching things, but it would take over 48 hours to get on average.

I saw a clip on twitter that someone found a shiny pokémon, I think it was Girafarig, but then it turned out to be a shiny ditto.

The hardest Pokémon to shiny hunt are the now multitudes of “slightly different contrast“ Pokémon that looks exactly the same as the normal forms (ie garchomp, Gengar, any of Paldea’s first stage starters) because of the lack of the sparkle noise from PLA

I actually caught a shiny tandemous that I didn’t even know was shiny. It also evolved into a family of three. Didn’t realize it was shiny until yesterday too so this whole time I thought I just had a family of three maushold.
