I got the same result where the original price is concerned and on the £21 with both reductions = £15.75, but I did not multiply 30 x 0.45. I simply halved the £30 (£15= 50% off). I still answered that the customer was right as £15 (-50%) is less than the price the shop is charging with both reductions (£15.75). So, their offer is not 'better than half price'.
