Sir. Re: Second question regarding the mobile phone. Does £252 not actually constitute 70% of the original price? So that £252/0.7 = £360. Or am I on the wrong track here? (Currently studying Adult maths WJEC higher tier and finding your videos enormously helpful :-) )

Hi sir. its loll here. 17:55 for the second question, wouldn't it be easier to just work out 1% then multiply by 100 to find 100%. if I used this method, would any marks be deducted.

The question with the 20% VAT on 16.23 minutes . I have divided the 20% by 2 to get 10% then did the same thing to the other side so I did 7, 680 / 2 = £3, 840 and then 10 ✖ 10= 100% did the same to the other side which gave me £ 3, 8400 . could you please tell me where I went wrong with this?
I've been watching the video you uploaded yesterday, so helpful but also made me stressed out as I haven't gone through most of the topics that you have mentioned in the video . The only person to blame is myself as I have had an online private tutor that was not helpful at all used to ask me to prepare the questions for her so she can wait for me to give her the answers and explanation of the topic for her when it should have been the other way around Hahah . been practicing on some past papers tho but only was and still able to do the first part of each paper, what would you do If you were in my position ? Any advice please ? bear in mind, I'm only aiming for a grade 4 .

Hi sir, I recently failed maths gcse and was a 2, 3 marks of passing I just wanted to know bcause I do believe that you did do the 2nd question incorrect and I think that answer should be 360 for the original price.Hopefully I can pass my next math gcse exam.
