Fundamental #1 to Understand the Experience Mod in Workers' Comp

My daughter was sitting at the kitchen table recently working on math while I was cooking dinner. She said to me, Dad, I don't get these inequality equations. (that is a "greater than" or "less than" statement if you are rusty on your math)

We are big on guiding the kids to learn rather than teaching them everything. So, I said, what is an inequality statement? Did you watch the video in Kahn Academy? Of course she said, no, I didn't watch the video. So she watched it and after about 45 seconds said, "oh, I get it, that is easy."

A simple fact of life is things that we don't understand can seem much more difficult than they actually are. Understand the fundamentals of the thing, and the thing can become easy.
