I had this problem in my shop once. Update the drivers and still couldn’t get it to notice Wi-Fi but Ethernet was fine.
If after installing/updating driver you still have the issue, check your bios to see if it was disabled. I’ve gotten this problem maybe 3 times and all usually are prebuilds or 2nd hand.

Btw if you dont have a another pc you can connect your phone to the computer that doesnt have internet and in the settings choose the option to host internet trough USB.

Just had to do this on my pc that I just reinstalled windows on this is a very normal thing and is a great reason to have a old laptop laying around.
