Black squares are the nodes, the red spheres that burst out are a visualization of the A* Search, the green spheres show the final path chosen. The timing of the spheres is for visualization only, the actual pathfinding happens in 35ms.

He forgot to change node parent to the more efficient path which is why it goes into that dead end
