Former President Trump claimed victory in the 2024 presidential election while flanked by his family and supporters. He also congratulated Sen. JD Vance and claimed Republicans would gain control of the Senate and maintain control of the House of Representatives. NBC News has not yet projected a winner in the presidential race.

He claimed victory because it’s beyond obvious at this point that he’s going to have all of the electoral votes he needs. It’s looking extremely likely that he’ll win all 7 battleground states. And he’s also leading the popular votes. There’s no path for Harris to win the electoral votes at this point.

Anyway, this is the outcome America needs, so I’m excited!
