Quick correction - the GTS also has compass and air pressure function. I completely forgot about it as I’ve removed that function from my watch. My sincere apologies for the mistake.

I bought the larger 46mm GT2 which offers twice the battery life of the 42mm version. I bought it last Monday and today is Sunday and it says I have 57% battery left - thats with permanent heart rate monitoring and workouts every day. I am seriously impressed - I was using an Apple Watch and a Huawei Band 3 Pro before. I loved the Huawei band because of the battery life and the sleep tracking but if i turned on heart rate tracking it killed the battery. Now my Apple Watch stays at home and I just wear the GT2 all the time - I dont miss all the apps on the Apple Watch and I find the workout tracking on the GT2 so easy to use. The screen on the GT2 is unbelievably good and so readable.

Excellent comparison, I cannot get over how much the AMAZFIT GTS looks exactly like my Willful Activity Tracker Watch 2019 that I actually purchased on Amazon for $35 US. Looking at the thumbnail for a split second I actually thought it was it. I love your channel keep up the great work.

My amazfit gts doesnt have those false readings, maybe because its a global version or something.

It tracks my sleep correctly, also heart rate too...

Hi Lim! Thanks for the great review. Would you still recommend the GT2 (42mm) over the GTS even after the recent updates you talked about in another video that seem to solve the GTS issues of tracking sleep/hr? Thanks!

As you have both devices at hand - let us know how accurately they measure steps during a day and during a "walking" or "running" workout. Personaly I have Amazift GTR and it tracks steps very well (during a workout it shows we a proper number of steps and average length of a step. Wherease my girlfriends Huawei GT2 42mm is heavily undercounting the steps (by more or les 25-30%) and it show some absurd average step lengths during a workout (97-150cm for a 168cm female!). At the same time both watches quite accurately measure workout distance (ie 2, 9km vs 2, 95km).

The square watch wins. Round watches are a throwback to a mechanical era, a sop to a bygone mechanistic necessity. The square/rectangular format befits an information device. The Huawei watches, like their Samsung Tizen counterparts, have many good aspects, such as battery life. But if you get the most basic design features--such as form factor--wrong, it's so hard to make up for it in other ways. No matter how much I like what I see in the Huawei watches, I can't bring myself to seriously consider them.

Very nice Review Lim as always! As I own a Huawei GT2 Smartwatch I have bin getting no more then 5 days battery time, without always on function, with the automatical light setting on (that dimms or brightens the light on smartwatch automatically according to sorrounding light), heart monitoring on, stress monitoring on, and sleep monitoring on, I did no training what so ever that needed GPS on, or listen to music on it, and the messages I am getting are max 30/ day . I also set the screen not to lit on from 22 pm to 07 am.
When I turned off the automatic stress monitoring I haven't got any emprovement on battery life. . .Whish I could get 1 week..can you tell me please what settings did you used to get 7 days of battery life ? I whould love to have that!

My gts battery last to 7 days with always on displey. Problem with heart rate and sleep tracker is solwed with update.

Can you tell me both of these watch can attend calls but is there any function in these watch that we can receive and hangup calls through these watch.
2.if I would like to talk on my calls through Bluetooth than it will support this function.
