Again Anthony, I echo all of the comments below. I find that for me, I need to head over to the computer, fire up LR and practice what you've demonstrated. If I don't, this aged mind won't remember all the great details. Thanks for this in depth instruction on the radial filter.

One thing i have noticed is if you hold down option on mac and pull a side of the filter only that side is affected so u can change the shape significantly

Great tips. Wasn't aware the overlay color could be changed. Also, can't you change the vignette color when using the radial filter?

One other feature that you did not cover. You can change the shape of the ellipse or the depth of one edge alone by holding down the Alt key (Option on an Apple) and dragging one of the four handles and the other points will not move.

I was using radial filter and it was working great, but now it is looking horrible. It looks hazy or faded when I add the filter. I don’t know what changed
