Breaking Down An Icon: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso | MR PORTER

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso was first produced in 1931, and its enduring success is of course thanks to the reversible case after which it is named. Taking in the key design details, we compare the Reverso Classic with the more modern Reverso Duoface, and bring in a rather special vintage piece – once owned by General Douglas MacArthur – to highlight one of the Reverso’s key features: the ability to personalise its caseback with any engraving of your choice.
