FYI: a very short pair of pants can work if you don't wear socks. Like the famous picture of Kliff Kingsbury at his mansion during the 2020 draft for the NFL. Also I feel like usually if you have to show socks avoid weird colors and go for black or the same color of the pants.

Personally, I wear my trousers with a good amount of width at the bottom. I like cuffs and breaks, usually a half break.

Hey Vlad, I think this tip is one of the most important. Amd it should be elaborated even more. Nowadays, at least 90% of the men I see around me wear trousers that are too short, and I'd like to point out how it DOESNT MATTET if they're wearing casual or formal attires. Too short is simply too short. One of the most horrible things to see us trousers that slip up once seated and expose a quarter of a leg. And don't roll down back again once standing. This evil effect is caused by another evil habit that I think should be immediately brought up. Trousers that have too tight bottoms. In order not to be baggy on the shoes, lots of mes wear narrow bottoms and consequently short trousers it's hard to guess which mistake comes first if narrow bottoms thus short trousers or vice-versa, but they are linked.
A trousers with proper length also have proper bottom width, and this is the way trousers drop is kept, leg line preserved, shies not hit by fabric, and trousers free to move up or down the leg.
I am absolutely sure you'll come up with trousers' bottom width topic, but I'd like to stress how length and width are always linked together

Agreed. I prefer No or a very slight break on most of my trousers.

Being from the Army, we had our dress uniform with one break. I'm in love with no break. I have my seemtress put the length on top of my shoe. I wear the shoe as she marks the trousers.

Puddling is bad, high-waters are worse, but no breaks is probably unrealistic. The standard I grew up with is no more than one break. This gives you a little flexibility. I also believe braces are better than belts in maintaining the proper fit of your pants.

the longest length until it breaks is the perfect length. and width..
here we go.
the slimmest possible pant must be the closest to the leg along its entire length, from hip to ankle. as slim as possible UNTIL it no longer form a straight line, but it bends at a point. then, it is too slim. remember, slimmest but STILL straight line. this is mathematically justified to be most masculine.

cuffs are good. pleats... they are not classic, they vintage. but if you like them, it still looks ok.

I prefer flat front, no cuff, and either a medium break or a full break.

Another tidbit that doesn't get talked about a lot is to not get your trousers too tapered. If they're too tapered, they get caught on your calves a lot and you end up looking like you have high-waters on. This happened to me every time I stood up from being in the sitting position.

I prefer a medium break. I have very short legs and a long torso, so if it's a slight break like you like, I'd look weird lol
