It's a shame that even though they say the servers are now running fully, they seem to have throttled the ground texture resolution which is generally lower than in 2020. I'm hoping this improves as time goes on.

3:45 MSFS will be fixed round about the time you reach that "upwind end" objective... in 3, 439 NM... in a Cessna 172.

For IT people, five 9s server availability (99.999%) is the holy grail. I don't know if they're reporting accurate data, but basically techs saying 99.999% is the same as them saying it's perfect, or at least as close to perfection as you can get in the real world.

Also a no brainier would be having standalone apps on both App Store and Google Play that links the EFB from the game to your mobile device.

I know there’s more pressing issues, but I really hope to hear more about photogrammetry improvements and plans which the devs have been specifically vague on.

I wish aircraft and handcrafted airports were locally installed, with the option of installing some world updates. I’d rather that with longer loading times than trying to navigate the overhead panel with no textures or arriving after a long haul flight with horrendous runway textures

I bought it in full packaging, but won't touch it until sometime in January after people at Asobo and MS have enough time for feedback, time for families and actually enjoy releasing a big product. Things can wait :)

I'm playing mainly in VR and was hoping for improved performance but after trying it I don't believe this will happen, even after the patches.

This game is so hilariously bugged yet I haven't had so much fun in any flightsim for a looong looong time. There are thousands of little bugs everywhere, starting from EFB flight plan transfer, through autopilot glitches, not to mention the completely whacked way that the game is calculation mission rewards. And don't get me started on my first cargo mission on a 172 with my own company where the advertised payout was 7k, but I got 120k in the end with all the bonuses... and the base pay was 30k.

Hell, I even once managed to forget about turning on Pitot heating on PC12 during bad weather. Speedometer seized up and my autothrottle thought I was going too fast, so it deccelerated all the way to 1500 feet. And I thought that was a bug before it occured to me that not this time pardner.

It's so broken and so fun that it kinda reminds me of running good old TFX on a Cyrix processor.

Yesterday, I found the last bug one has to deal with. If you uninstall the game, you have manually to delete the rolling cache file, it is not deleted by the uninstaller, this has many gigs, so I recommend to remove it.

At this point take the game off the Marketplace, give a refund back to everyone who purchased this unfinished pile of trash and spent two years actually finishing the game, polishing it, actually putting it through proper quality assurance testing. I'm a hardcore gamer and I love Microsoft Flight Sim however Microsoft flight simulator 2024 was in my opinion the biggest gaming disaster I have experienced in 10 years and that's saying something I have been through a lot of disappointments the past few years on Xbox and all that. The developers and Microsoft should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.
