You can date this video by the lack of galaxies during the zoom out. We've really opened up the universe with the large telescopes and extending old smaller telescopes with modern instruments (ccd cameras and spectrometers) and computers. Amazingly, if you look at a modern plot of galaxies now you'll see that first 'fan' is still there. Its a kind of archeology, mark an era on what the limits of its data set. Wonderful. Love the music too. Nice and spacey.
