Tomorrow morning my novel The Signature of All Things" will be born.

It has been more than a four-year journey for me to write this book. I spent three years doing research, followed by a red-hot blast of crazy writing fever, followed by many long intricate months of editing, followed by many more antsy months of publication preparation (including book cover selection by popular vote, THANK YOU!) and now...it's here.

I hope with all my heart that you will come to love this story.

BECAUSE I WROTE IT FOR YOU.

Ever since "Eat Pray Love" was published, you - my wonderful readers - have become such an important part of my life. You have brought me so much joy, so much sisterhood and community, so much affection, so much wisdom, so much trust, so much grace, so much emotional honesty. I am grateful to be part of your lives, and I am deeply honored to be one of your storytellers. I hope you will take this new novel as a gift of thanks - and as another journey for all of us to go on together.
