Interesting! I remember learning that it was intestinal metaplasia of the lower esophagus. I believe the goblet cells are unique to the small and large intestine, whereas the stomach has pseudogoblet or foveolar cells which tend to be organized in groups rather than dispersed. So yes you would see goblet cells in barrets but it is intentional metaplasia, not gastric. I love your videos btw!! I have learned so much from you and love the work you do!
