Just fixed my old 360 elite, i am absolutely star struck can't belive this saved me $40, also while it was dismantled I cleaned and fixed my eject button so now the button works for opening the system. Cheers brother thanks for posting this gem

I'm definitely giving this a try. I got a 360 out of a scrap pile that didn't work at all. First, I managed to get it to boot by cleaning up corrosion. Then it wouldn't put out an A/V signal, but I've determined that the HDMI port still functions. All that's left is to get that disc drive to work, which why I think they tossed it in the scrap pile to begin with.

Another thing I've found to be helpful is the auto-play feature. Though if your trying to download dlc from a disk, at least for me, you have to turn it off. Good luck and have fun!

Great video. I may have to do this; I think my optical drive is starting to fail. Some discs read right away, but others will not read at all. Or, some discs will take multiple attempts before finally working.

Hey, I got me a new laser lens for my Xbox 360 Slim because my old one doesn't work anymore, I know there's always a CD and DVD pot on every Xbox 360 laser lens, but what do you mean by turning the DVD pot on the laser lens a quarter counterclockwise??

I’ve tried turning the two adjusters and also using a swab to get any debris of the laser itself, is there any certain way I need to turn the two adjusters?

For me, instead of unrecognized disk. Instead it says open cd

I don’t know what is wrong, I’m trying to play metal arms, bought the disk, doesn’t work. So we bought the digital version, and that doesn’t work either. The weird part is every other game I have works.
