I'm a big Michael Conelly fan and loved this series and Bosch too. The biggest mysteries being will Maddie ever smile and just how bad are Lorna's bunions?
I think Matthew McConaughey's portrayal of Haller has the sleazyness of the books.
Izzy is a nice character but it was obvious from the off that she would be the replacement to Patrick and Earl.

Im not sure if its the same in the show but in the book the funniest part was completely bluffing he didn't know it was fake he just guessed because the victim seemed like the kind of douchbag who would give fake jewelry to his wife
