I just did this! I bought 4 cases of leg quarters, 4 cases of wings, 3 huge tubes of ground Turkey, 10 family size bags of mixed veggies, and 10 pounds of shrimp that was $576. That’s all I could afford this paycheck. I got to stock up so when our checks are short we got meat. Side dishes, fruit, and snacks are are cheaper than meat. I grow my salad and herbs. I had to compare prices to get the best deals. We buy from a local farmer and a restaurant supply chain. Sam’s was way too high this time. My neighbor gives me eggs and I give him tomatoes okra and peppers from my garden lol 😂. He goes fishing a lot so I get gar fish and catfish from him then my husband mows his yard sometimes as a thank you lol 😂. I was getting frustrated grocery shopping every week and I couldn’t get ahead. This will give me a break.

I buy a half a cow every year, I paid $2.79 a pound and that includes processing and packaging. In Michigan. Been doing this for 4 years and I save so much money this way.,
