The parkour is the exact same in both games… their is only a slight difference in their running animations to give them personality

Rogue was a pretty decent game and i think its underrated but it definitely had that problem with parkour when the environmet is just lacking the density of buildings for freerunning. I mean U cant really do parkour on fckin frontier meadows with two trees, a rock and a lonely cabin on them.

AC4/Rogue era could've been peak Assassin's Creed if they added areas like the France maps from Unity. Unity couldn't been the best installment if it weren't for the unnecessary additions like the RPG elements.

Tree parkour was so amazing. I can’t believe they stripped that. You could actually parkour in areas without buildings

You can't feel if only wathc. I play Rogue its like more sensitife parkour than black flag, without reason

the parkour from Rogue it's just a little little little bit better than Black Flag, 'cause it has like 2 or 3 animations while jumping than Black Flag, but maybe it's just to represent that Shay is heavier than Edward

i feel like rogue is more clumsy and weird gameplay control wise, idk why since its almost the same as black flag, black flag feels okay, weird stuff rarely happen in black flag

Not related but I've always had this mixed feelings about Edward and Shay's running animations. They were like so plain and basic that they looked weird

It might possibly be the frame rate difference but let's just imagine that Edward is much rougher considering he wasn't trained as an assassin for free running but Shay was, making his movements much smoother and quicker over Edward's.
