The shot of Batman just hop-skotching over bullets is S Tier Corridor

The car landing scene was just so good, the bat mobile didn't even look like it was just a 3d model

The most impressive part of all of this is probably making the 1960s Batmobile look badass without changing a single thing.

There is a much older B&W Batman serial film that aired in theaters in the 30’s & 40’s. He had floppy ears and carried a gun. It was pretty crazy.

Adam West wasn’t lame. He was a campy legend. Rest in peace, Adam.

Obviously the finished product was mind blowing, particularly the shot of the batmobile landing... but I am very embarrassed that I didn't realize DC stood for Detective Comics.

“I don’t know much about Batman I just have very strong opinions”

You’ve summed up like half the critics lol

When I was a teenager in the 90s I did the whole 90s teenager "everything's gotta be grimdark, man" thing and looked down on the Adam West Batman series for a hot minute, but that did not last long. I get people preferring more serious takes on Batman, but the 60s Batman is still a lot of undeniable fun. He's certainly not lame, even if a little dated now.

Batman evading-bullets scene was gold... or diamond even.

The bright/cartoony "pow" and "splat" followed by Gordons face actually getting sprayed with blood was amazing lmao

As a child the Adam West batman was the best thing ever. It was before my time, but was still on repeat on TV when i was growing up..

Okay, I just wanted to say that I agree with your comment at 1:35, to an extent. The thing is, Adam didn't want to play a dark, gritty Batman, and said so later in life before he died. He knew of the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan versions of Batman, and he said they were wrong. He went to his grave feeling that his Batman was the best.

Underrated music edit. I can't believe how seamless the merging of the theme songs was. The addition of the "Na na na na na na" strings and that final "Batman!" nailed what was missing from Michael Giacchino's original composition .

The camp isn't Adam's prison, its where he thrives. This is his domain, and by god that comedic timing is on damn point.

I love Adam West's Batman and it wasn't corny it was hilarious and fun.. on purpose. Adam West's self aware, dry humor in those tights was the greatest thing ever.

As a car guy and a Batmobile fan, it was so cool to see the original Batmobile look so gritty, and tough! You guys did a great job!

for the people who miss Adam West so much, there are 2 recent amazing cartoons with him and Burt Ward in the style and continuity of the 60's TV show

Rest In Peace, Adam West. He was one of the biggest Batman fanboys, he was a wonderful and magnanimous celebrity at conventions. Just a wonderful guy, who loved his role, and his place in bat history.
