In this video, we have explained to you that how you can update the kernel on your linux mint system. I am showcasing the 2 different ways for kernel upgradation i.e. by using the update manager and by writing multiple commands on the terminal.
Commands that are used in this video.
1. uname –sr
2. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:teejee2008/ppa
3. sudo apt update
4. sudo apt-get install ukuu
5. sudo ukuu-gtk

2:45 to 3:00..Mine says "unable to locate package Ukuu, Linux mint 20"..I'm guessing the main author of this service really did make it a paid deal after all. (shrugs)

Couldn't find ukuu package. Trying to install the kernel by the first option

Just use the first option. It's what is built in. There is no "more authentic" way.
