sir is there any logic behind the dependency of potential on theta? In other words, why did we introduce the 'f(theta)' function?

Sir why does Potential at the vertex having 90 deg not have a shape factor dependent on theta? Im not able to find why

Sir at 8:34 I think we cannot replace the f(90-theta) with Vb/c as charge is also changing the charge in smaller triangle is less than initial one
Sir I attempted the problem by writing different charges as the arrangement is same
If initial charge was Q then In smaller triangle it is coming Qcos^2 theta
But ended up getting wrong answer sir please clarify 🙏
