Former genius for an Apple store. This was a nightmare for us when they introduced it. It was still a 30-45 minute process for us, every time. We hated taking those things apart and would have much rather them kept the panel on the back that let you upgrade the RAM yourself.

Nope. Anything glued together like that is bad design from the start. The only time it's acceptable is on a phone, purely due to size restraints and water-resistance.

I enjoy watching someone realistically try to upgrade a computer, in this case a Mac, while you are learning how to via online and video tutorials. I am not even a Mac user, but found it very down to earth content.
