I've been practicing with my valve for years, just in case I'm being pursued by bats

I’ve spent the last hour trying to do the valve thing. I don’t know if it’s working or not, but the librarian has asked me to put my pants back on. So, she’s probably not a bat.

The way the bat caught the moth in the first clip was pretty dang awesome.

It's fascinating to consider how bats breed moths to be able to do these things: eat all the ones that can't.
Constantly.

Lepidoptera means scaled wing, if anyone just wanted to know that.

Oh, like moths can make jam. My mom can't even do that very well.

Its crazy that they developed equivalents for both chaff and electronic warfare jammers that fighter jets use to confuse radar systems.

The genital valve is a great deterrent, but may not work on some predators.

Moths are covered in silvery powder that comes off easily. Maybe they should use them as chaff.
