Full, narrated version of video-
Snare Drum EQ For Live Sound & Recording- Mixing Tips Using The Behringer XR18, X32, Midas MR18, M32 is here:

In this video a Behringer XR18 is being used as the mixer. The GUI and technique is also applicable to the Behringer X32, Midas M32, Midas MR18, and X-Air series. X-Air Edit PC software is shown. Recorded to Reaper DAW.

The overall EQ concept is cross platform information that can be applied to other mixers, and also DAW plugins. The GUI, or real life surface and controls, might look different on your audio mixer or equalizer, but they all do the same basic things.

The drum sound is an important part of the mix for any song. It's the rhythmic foundation of the music. In live sound reinforcement or in the studio, it's important to bring the drum mix to life in a way that is suitable for the musical genre and the song specifically. Solid equalization fundamentals are part of this sonic balance.
Whether it is the crack of the snare or the boom or thud of the bass drum, a balanced and appropriate drum mix can help your overall band sound. Learning what and where to emphasize and to de-emphasize, the frequencies to cut and where to boost on the equalizer, is a a crucial tool in an audio engineer's toolkit of knowledge.

This is a companion video to the full, narrated video: Snare Drum EQ For Live Sound & Recording- Mixing Tips Using The Behringer XR18, X32, Midas MR18, M32 . The full video is here:
The full video contains more overall information, but it was requested to have a way to have longer listens to the EQ changes, without any of the narration taking away from the drum audio. I did this originally for the kick drum video and now for the snare drum video.

I'd definitely recommend watching the other video as well for better context since this video is meant as a companion piece to the full video.
