2019 Mustang GT vs 2007 GT500

In this video is my 2019 GT A10 Mustang with JLT intake, Lund e85 tune taking on a 2007ish? GT500 with unknown mods. The first run I had to let off for traffic.

That’s 10 speed really helps the new GT get the jump on the GT500. Especially from a stop. Stock the GT is half a second quicker to 60. My aunt owns both. She has a 2009 GT500 convertible that’s mostly a garage queen, it’s got a some ECU mods and minor stuff. Her daily driver is a 2018 GT convertible automatic. She said it’s a little quicker off the line then the GT500 roasts it

Dude def cant drive hes shifting immediately after punching it so he must be starting very high in the gear and not an optimal place to start hed be better off starting in the next gear from that speed. Knowing your car really has alot to do with it ecspecially with a manual and you gotta shift fast. He didnt even have time to start he was already shifting and shifting slow at that losing even more momentum. I got a bolt on 410 geared 07 im dying to run one of these bolt on 10 speeds i actually know what i am doing and i promise i wont be starting in the wrong gear driver mod ftw.

GT500 might only have axle back.. seems about right for the run

gotta remember the gt500 only makes like 430 wheel and that '17 makes around the same so the results don't surprise me

running back to back the gt500 will lose everytime if its using the m122 blower
I run a triple pass vmp heat exchanger and still drop power like crazy every run back to back

E85 tune is junk on GT, its running 14AFR at cruise level which is normal gasoline afr and 12 at WOT. Should be 8-9 AFR on e85 tune WOT.

There isn't a mustang stock GT that my 07 Shelby conv. hasn't destroyed in a race.

Swap that 07 for a 13/14 GT 500 and let's see what happens🤔

Auto vs manual. 🥴 all you do in the 5.0 is put your foot to the floor especially in the 10 speed. But that gt500 needs some work on his shifting.

That gt500 is painfully slow, something is definitely wrong with it. The stock 2003 cobra is faster than that.
