Laine addict here!! Any book by them is just, well, all dopamine and serotonin 😊❤. But....aging myself .... anything by Elizabeth Zimmermann and Barbara Walkers stitch dictionary books have served me well for 40 years. They are in my what to save in case of fire list! 😂

I was surprised that I already have 5 of the books that you went through. Another book that I would recommend is Cast On Bind Off. It breaks them down to basic, stretchy, decorative and such.

Alter Knit stitch dictionary is a great stitch pattern book.

Enjoyed the episode ! When it comes to aesthetics, I really enjoy my A stitch in time' book, by Crawford. Not sure if I'll ever knit anything out of it, as those garments would probably look weird on me, but they are so lovely, and it makes a beautiful coffee table book for me

Hi Amanda, I’m definitely going to purchase the Knitting, Tips and Tricks by Patty Lyons. I do like “The Nordic Knitting Primer” by Kristin Drysdale, a great book on Scandinavian Colorwork. I also, recently purchased the “Knitovation” by Andrea Rangel, tons of colorwork motifs. Thank you for sharing your favorite books, much appreciated!

Pretty sure it's pronounced 'len.' Laine is the French word for wool

I just bought the Patty Lyons book for my mom for Christmas as she's getting back into knitting....but I'm planning to peelk through it before I mail it to her in case I want my own copy! I've heard so many great things about this book!
