Pile 2: Only just started watching, and already I'm hearing what I've been through!! I was living my life for other people, and I was MISERABLE
And it wasn't until I started to stick up for myself and use my voice that changes started to happen. And yeah, I lost people on my path, people who I thought cared, and I've been through a lot of heartache, but I'm lighter now and am working on putting myself first. I have had very bad trust issues, and it's taken a lot of time for me to get back out there, but I'm trying! It's hard, but I know I can't hang onto that defensive nature anymore. I want true, authentic connections, and a lot of my relationships of late have been one-sided or super toxic, and I'm tired of always feeling out of breath with these people.

I've been feeling super stagnant lately and have been hoping something new will come my way. I've been in such a funk lately, and I'm doing all that I can to keep moving forward, even though it makes me hella uncomfortable. I'm currently trying to distance myself from these last ties that I know are holding me down, but I'm making small steps towards that distance! I've been all work, no play for a very long time now, and my inner child is screaming to come out LOL

I'm currently crushing on this guy I met not long ago, and I'm kinda hoping something great comes out of it?? He's super nice and chill and I keep feeling like he'd be just super neat to be around, so I'm hopeful??

Thanks for the hopeful and inspiring messages in Pile 3! During my first 25-30 years, I did really chase achievements and accomplishments. It was more of a mindset, though, as by the time I was 26 I turned towards spirituality to find fulfillment. I found that I had the same aspirations in my meditation as I formally had for my academic and work goals. I found out the hard way that fulfillment and joy can't be found through this approach. In the past few years, I've calmed down quite a lot. It's still hard to me to accept things as they are rather than try to get them to be different. It's funny that this "energy" would still turn up in a reading!

I am currently recording a podcast which I am terrified to do and have been working on for months and going back and forth because I am such an introvert and terrified to be seen, but I am persevering as I don't feel what is out there currently is accurate or balanced. But then I am like what is the point because everyone is doing it and I get all caught up mentally about whether to continue or not. One of the reasons for doing it was that I was hoping to make friends and meet people from it as my friends arent interested in the subject...
