Skyrim Shadow Issue

Anyone have a fix/explanation for this? It happens whenever I go underneath something that would cast shadow.

One thing I forgot to mention. Before you make the changes you MUST put shadow settings on MEDIUM, then load the game to your character and quit to desktop. Then make the changes. After you made the changes you want to make sure you go into the SkyrimPrefs.ini properties by right clicking and set the file to READ ONLY. This should fix your problem immediately.

Actually, it happens whenever I go near an environmental object that would cast any shadow whatsoever, including buildings, trees, etc.

YES!!! Been googling 6 hours to try and find someone else with this problem. I have this same problem! I can fix it if i revert to a fresh install with no updates, but then I have a problem with Y axis sensitvity. But this only happens with the patches. If you find a solution, please share it here, as it really ruins the game.

Is it at that cave only or does it happen all the time? If it's just there, I'd say that it's just a bug of some sort.

is this on pc? if so push plug harder into back of monitor if it doesnt work goto were the lead has been attached and push there this sometimes happens to me

I want to let you know I saw your video and thought you could use this useful information I found that helped me fix the same problem that I was having. Your only solution is to completely remove shadows. You can find the fix at the link below and there is no downloading anything. Just tweak your graphics the hard way and it will work.
