idk why but at first when Marvin says "don't misunderstand, I'm in demand" i thought he said "don't misunderstand, i'm into man" and frankly that would've been a better lyric but y'know

I love (no sarcasm) how Jason progressed threw it. From hating to loving his father

This actually broke my heart because it took Whizzer and Marvin losing each other to realize how much they actually loved one another.

The part that makes me cry is
"I'm everything he wanted, is time I put it all together... Our hands were tight my father cried 'You'll marry!' We married."

Because It's like the sequal to Love is blind, but here Trina show the perspective of both, which demonstrates how she doesn't regret loving Marvin.

I want to take a moment to appreciate Jason’s part in this. He says “I hate the world, I love my dad, I love the things I never had.” This is a beautiful, painful, and tragically relatable image. It’s saying how he had the world, Trina gave him everything he could have wanted, yet because Marvin was never fully with his family and never fully there for his son, Jason grew into loneliness and bitterness. He yearns for his father because he “never had” him, leading him to “hate the world.”
