Raising a kid isn't easy, and sometimes, mamas and papas just can't be bothered to be good parents. The alligator is not necessarily eating it's babies. They sometimes transport them from one place to another by carrying them in their mouths.

Yeah, some of those clips of alligators "eating" it's young are not what they seem!
A mother alligator will carry the babies to the water in it's mouth!
And THEN soon after that it's every gator for it's self!

The first one is cap about parental alligators eating their own babies, they'll take care of them or try to protect them whenever their able to, it's just that other gators will eat smaller gators due to the reasoning of free food, and pandas in the wild will take care of their babies, except in captivity because they say screw it because they don't feel like they have to, and black bears won't kill their babies or baby, but if it's just one they'll just say Frick it it's not worth the energy and then not kill it but ditch it, and Tasmanian devils don't have the strongest bite in the world, and the Tasmanian devil babies are born super small if anyone was wondering if they were born like puppies, and black eagles have a reason for letting the babies fight, it's so that the species can have more stronger eagles in the future, and if hamsters did any of that stuff in the wild they would've been clapped, so thats why they most likely don't and would only eat their babies so that the predator doesn't get nutrients from the babies and instead they do, and all frogs leave their babies to do their own crap so they don't get eaten while taking care of them and why that darwin frog pukes up it's babies is because he knows that they know what to do due to instinct, and the skink probably eat their eggs so that they get the nutrients to get another clutch instead of the predator eating them and not making another clutch of eggs, and the seal probably does that so they they can repopulate their population as much as they can due to them being prey to alot of animals, and those are some of my reasons, also your stupid I have the comments to back me up on that

Those clips he is showing about the crocodile and alligators of them putting there children in there mouths they are putting there children in the water since crocs don't have hands they have to use there mouths but since they have a bite that can crush bone they are very gentle with there children and power so they are actually great parents
