What does it mean "muscle disfunction" ?

He said that if the patient is positive for empty can test which is the test for rotator cuff muscles but cannot distinguished if the problem is from supraspinatus muscle or no, so you should perform full can test. But at the end of the video, he also said that if the patient is positive for empty can test and negative for full can test, the lesion is not coming from rotator cuff muscles. !!!????

Sensitivity and specificity chart in description shows torn supraspinatus and RC Tears but in this case both should be same.. if not, which rotator cuff muscle is involved other than Supraspinatus ??? Thank you..

I’m new to these tests, so forgive me.

Is a result positive for the Full Can Test if the client can not withstand the resistance and/or if there is pain? What if the client can withstand the resistance but experiences pain?
