i never wished for cancer, but for broken bones yes and it wasnt even that my parents didnt care about me i js wanted to experience how you would feel with a broken bone 😅

Saddest thing is that my little brother actually got cancer, and I feel even worse about even wishing that something would happen to me

As an only child (with the common stereotype that I get everything) I used to wish I’d get an illness or smt so my parents would stop getting angry at things I couldn’t control

I used to pray to god that i would have to go to the hospital so they would focus on me. A few days later i had to get an iv attached to me for 2 weeks. I still dont regret that prayer

This is exactly how i feel in the oldest child and i had so many good memories with my parents before my siblings but now all of the good ones have became bad ones

Mine would blame me for breaking a bone, act like I’m seeking attention and then treat me like Im nuisance when I needed help. And they wonder why they don’t get to see their grandkids

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking for a while ago but just the bones but never cancer and I would also hope I would pass out or sum bc I wanted to see who would actually care abt me or wtv

I remember wanting to get kidnapped because then I knew someone had chosen me. I know it sounds wild, and it is, but sometimes it helped me when some creepy old guy hit on me. It proved it wasn’t me. It was them.

My friends called me crazy for praying for cancer for years lol…it was an easy way out so 2 in 1 solution

I never did it for my parents attention because I knew it wouldn’t do anything, but I used to put on fake casts to get attention just to be noticed in school when I was TEN.

i never rlly wishes for cancer - i was diagnosed with it at 4yrs old and recovered at 6. i have always wondered what its like to break a bone tho😃👍

as a kid i would fake getting sick, not get miss out on school i loved school, i did it so that my parents would focus on me and care for me

yeah, although my kidney was failing and i literally lived in a hospital for a year, I still wanted cancer or a broken arm.
