This playlist is gold. One tiny correction; I believe the locking script is also referred to as redeem script. However, at 39:52, it is mentioned as witness script.

Does a bitcoin transaction's input"s Sig Script signature section contain a hash of the transaction? If so, why? Can't it get this from the hashing the transaction itself? This would save space on the blockchain as the Sig Script could be smaller
