The term UFO should be abandoned since it merely means that some flying vehicle is unidentified, not necessarily alien. The new term SAS should be used instead. It stands for Suspected Alien Ship. Everyone should be looking for a SAS not an UFO.

One of the coolest falsely-identified “UFOs” is the International Space Station. I have never heard this offered as an explanation for UFOs, oddly, but it can be such an amazing sight. If you catch it flying near the horizon while the sun is setting, and if it is at a particular angle, then it looks exactly like a burning airplane...but it never crashes and it is silent. You can track the ISS and get an alert when it will be visible from your location. I have seen it probably five times, and only twice did it look like a silently cruising fireball. My dad once called 911 because he thought a plane was about to crash. It was coincidental timing that I happened upon the ISS in its “fireball” state maybe a month before that.

I’m from Adelaide Australia.. about 1 year ago I was in my parents backroom, it was about 1am and I just went to sleep, so I wasn’t in a deep sleep, I had my eyes shut for about 10 minutes and opened my eyes because I heard this loud/deep humming sound on top of the roof. I opened my eyes and could see this red light shining through the curtains. I was paralysed with fear, too scared to look out the window. I knew something was there. I called my husband who was overseas and I just asked him to stay on the phone with me. After about 5 minutes it left. NO ONE believes me... they just think it was a drone or a plane but I know it wasn’t, it was on top of the roof, the sound wasn’t like any aircraft I’ve ever heard of.
