If you were a runner or jogged regularly before your pregnancy, you can carry on for as long as you feel comfortable – it’s a great aerobic exercise.

If you’re used to running or jogging and want to continue during pregnancy, there are lots of benefits. It’s an excellent workout for your heart and lungs.
Running has not been shown to cause miscarriage or premature birth. However, if you have been told you are at a higher risk of having a premature birth, talk to your doctor before starting any exercise.
