Was going nuts on this. Still works for my 2021 3500 (which I love).

Thanks all the way from New Park, PA!

I called & spoke with a gentleman in your service department today. He wasn't aware this amazingly helpful video was on YouTube.

Good thing as I learned how to plug in my Ram 2500 engine block heater.

I'm an EMT with So. York EMS & just had a call in FRIGID weather.
Thank goodness my truck auto started (and yes I unplugged it before I headed out) like a CHAMP!

It's so nice to know I have a Ram truck that will take me to any emergency call day or night.

Yours in safety & Ram STRONG,

Lynn "Beauty" Browne, NREMT-BCMT

If plugged in would it charge the batteries too?

I have a 2018 2500 Cummins tradesman and there is no block heater cord. I have seen people that have 2019 and above buying cords and having to put them on, is this the case for me too?

I live in GA I have a 2012 3500  just here within last few days it's been in 30's to low 40's and I go out to crank my truck and it just clicks like batteries are dead but after a few cycles it will crank. My question is should I use the block heater or could there be another problem?

Is it not standard on a 17 ram diesel? I don't see one on mine. Granted I'm in Texas but I thought it standard on diesel.
