So does this just allow you to heat it a little longer than the countdown on a cold start ?

Add a battery charger. So you're charging battery & keeping engine warm at some time. 👍🏻

I literally have the same truck in CO with the night package. Just did this mod before our sub zero weekend. On another note, I just added all the banks cold air stuff and immediately started throwing a P0402 code “egr high flow detected”. Did you have to deal with the same?
