How ‘one of the largest’ tornadoes ripped through 6 US states, over 80 dead; Kentucky worst hit

Devastating tornadoes roared through six US states overnight, over 80 people dead, several missing. Search and rescue officials helped citizens sift through the rubble searching for survivors. US President Joe Biden said it was likely to be ‘one of the largest’ storm outbreaks in American history. Biden said, “I want to emphasize what I told all the governors: The federal government will do everything, everything it can possibly do to help.” Over 70 believed to have been killed in Kentucky alone, many of them workers at a candle factory. At least six died in an Amazon warehouse in Illinois where they were on the night shift. Amazon chief Jeff Bezos said he was ‘heartbroken’ over the loss of his ‘teammates’. We need to address this drastic changes in the patterns of weather throughout the globe. As I hail from Kolkata (India), I'll put down an example from my region. Even 10 years ago, the number of tropical cyclone system originating during the summer in the Indian Ocean and advancing towards Bay of Bengal was 1 to 2. And now, 2021 alone, we have witnessed nearly 5 cyclones and that too during winters as well. This is huge, I mean, the radical shifting of normal patterns to adverse types is really alarming.
