Was a pipe welder 51 yrs. in refineries & pipe lines offshore GULF OF MEXICO. went yo INDIA FOR PIPE LINE WORK. OUR PRES. got in office shut down 2 pipe lines in progress, & other projects. lots of people lost out or const. work. glad i'm retired now, retired at 71 yrs. old. enjoyed my work. thanks for your video enjoyed it.

Boy have things changed since I worked on gas pipeline in the 1960s😃We ran 28miles of 12in. gas with a Cleavland trencher, 4weldersa 944 sideboom.

Great video. Worked on LNG project through Qld and was great work. On dozer, grader & diggers on clear and grade and would be interesting to see how well the trenching scars have rehabilitated. Some pretty rough terrain the machines work in which makes it impressive.

For several years, I've been working on various pipe coating plants all over the world. My latest pipe coating project was on the German island Rügen which was a heavy coat plant where some 4 inches of concrete were applied to raise the weight from approximately 12 tons to 30 tons. I loved that project.
