Well that was the most biased review possible. It was an Apple user saying they didnt like android and not doing any homework. The Logitech Cloud G has over 10 hours battery life. It works with xbox, pc (moonlight), and ps5(you didnt even mention those options. It has usb c to hdmi output and you can definitely hook up a controller to it. Its better than the ps portal by a country mile.

So in reality you can pick up a used one with a warranty from secondipity for $220. This is not for someone who has constant access to their xbox, ps, or pc. This device is for everyone who wants to game but has downtime not near their console. Maybe you commute, or have other family members using the tv, or want to game and watch your big tv at the same time. Maybe your in a hotel and want to game but dont have your console .... now you do. And if you buy a $20 switch dock now you can game on any tv remotely with your full library accessible.

We arent even discussing the emulator options for the Logitech Cloud G. The "Cloud" is what its designed for as in even with out a console you can still play the newest games thru Nvidia. But its strength is your existing cloud Steam, Moonlight, Xbox Gold, and Playstation Gold. If you have good internet service at home and can setup a wifi hotspot on your phone you now have access to your entire catalog. Now that said is it good for shooters or rhythm games.... not competitively but this was just lazy journalism. You should have done your homework instead of just throwing this together.

G Cloud is a solid device if you know what you're getting into before buying it instead of assuming. I already knew before getting it my home network can handle remote play and cloud gaming with little hiccups on my current devices, wanted a dedicated unit just for this kind of thing and I've been honestly enjoying it. PS Remote Play, Xbox Remote Play, and Steam Link are what I use with it and the experience is damn well close to native with little to no input latency. PS5 streaming at 1080p is a godsend, being able to play Baldur's in bed or TLOU 2 in bed is why I got this.

Wish people who knew what this device was marketed for would review it lol.

The Xbox series s is still undefeated when it comes to price to performance ratio for games like Fortnite. For less than 300 bucks you can play on stable 120 fps with low input delay (compared to any other device in that price range)

Logitech G Cloud was a bad choice for testing out cloud gaming. It's a cheap android tablet with controller buttons glued to the sides... It tries to be like a Steam Deck or an Asus ROG but it fails to even come close. Not to mention that a wireless internet connection is always gonna be bad for cloud gaming. In my experience, a wired ethernet connection at home is basically required for a good gaming experience. Especially when you try to go to places outside major cities with strong internet infrastructure, your Logitech G Cloud wont be able to stream anything and you'll be limited to Google Play Store games. This device doesn't even make a good android emulator because there are tons of handheld android emulators that are way, way cheaper than this. Basically, the Logitech G Cloud is a device for nobody; because anybody looking to buy a G Cloud for any reason at all will be able to find a better and/or cheaper alternative.

Never tried cloud gaming but i am tempted to get this device as unlike some other handheld gaming devices powered by android at least this you can pick up at the store. I wonder if logitech will make a successor and listen to the its customers on how to improve the device.
