Been covered by so many bands /singers and this rendition is in the top 5 for me.. True class solid delivery. Shines.

Major major major goosebumps. Yvonne shines so bright in this slow, brooding, so soulful rendition and the band is amazing including the two very tasteful solos. Oh man, this is great stuff

I fell in love with Yvonne Elliman's voice when she played Mary Magdeline in _Jesus Christ, Superstar._ Technically top-notch but has this element of emotion that is altogether serene yet a pain and anxiety that is palpable. It hit me in the feels when she sang "I Don't Know How to Love Him." Clapton always loved her voice and collaborated with her on a bevy of songs and albums. Not surprised; she's a rare talent.

She ran into some trouble a few years ago and on one level I was a little disappointed because it seemed so out of character; but we all have our screw-ups at some point or another; I've had my share, so it's all a function of how and whether you pick yourself back up and dust yourself off and get back in the saddle. Sounds like she's done that, so it's all good. Still admire her talent.

I was a kid in the 70’s and I heard this song in the dentist chair one day and I was hooked. Never heard this version though. She’s amazing!

Saw this in 1977 at the Clapton concert in Mobile, Alabama. Yvonne was sitting on a stool and played this by herself. I've never forgotten how beautiful it sounded.
