Addressing the 66th Convocation of IIT Kharagpur through a video conference Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged students to work towards creating startups and innovating things that can change the lives of crores of people in the country. The Prime Minister asked the students to adopt the mantra of Self 3 -Self-awareness, Self-confidence and Selflessness to overcome self-doubt and obstacles. We are witnessing a new ecosystem in startup, innovation and research areas. We have to work today to get results in the next 10 years. There is no scope for hurry in the field of technology. A technological failure always leads to a new innovation. The PM also said that now is the time to work towards the futuristic solutions of health technology. The situation of 21st century India has changed; needs have changed and aspirations have also changed. Now IITs need to be taken to the next level in the case of Institutes of Indigenous Technologies, not just Indian Institutes of Technology. When the world was fighting climate change, India started work on the International Solar Alliance. Today, several nations are working closely with India on promoting solar energy, the PM added. As per the global innovation index 2020 where india rankes 48 th position which is much better than the 2019 rank of 52 nd. global challenges gives birth to the needs of global innovation sometimes in crisis or situations based opportunity in the world .india is the one of the world fastest-growing economy and with 3 rd in the startup ecosystem for the entrepreneur in the dynamic world. we had seen several innovation during pandemic for finding multiple method to tackle covid in terms of vaccination, sanitization, curbing flourishing of infodamic related to virus on the social media platform and transport. india having huge potential which we have to give such catalyst by which gives us robust and exponential growth in the innovation who meet the millions of challenges of billions Indians. private sector also aline with innovation but not like isro or drdo, the huddle in the way is venture capital that is need of the private firm's. if india wants to reach at the hight of the innovation where every india could say that this innovation is came from india, for that we need to change societal temperament related to innovation and national institute and universities now need to link and move toward curb the Real challenge of the real world like Delhi air pollution .india having huge demographic dividends which we have to channelise in right direction to achieve our sustainable development goal with bio circular economy.
